St. Peter's Home recently enhanced the security of their facility with a new state of the art access and digital CCTV system. Now all the perimeter doors are secured with electronic security magnets and strikes. At present, employees gain access via a proximity key fob. Doors are automatically unlocked and located by a set schedule based in a local computer. The facility is also covered by a new CCTV surveillance system. There are both exterior cameras that can see even in complete darkness and interior cameras to observe hallways and entry points. The cameras are linked to a digital multiplexer/recorder.
